Madhya Pradesh has announced a major leap in its technology ambitions, securing investment commitments worth Rs 15,896 crore alongside plans for 64,085 new tech-sector jobs, marking one of its strongest hiring pipelines in recent years.
The commitments emerged at the state’s latest technology showcase, where officials outlined a vision centred on advanced manufacturing, AI-led industries, cybersecurity, drone ecosystems and satellite-tech applications. The government emphasised that the state is no longer positioning itself as a peripheral tech destination, but as a contender capable of attracting high-value digital and engineering investments.
A highlight of the announcements was the state’s forthcoming Space Tech Policy 2025, designed to draw companies working with remote sensing, satellite data and deep-tech R&D. The proposed AI and Knowledge City in Bhopal further signals a shift toward building integrated innovation districts.
The event also saw the exchange of land-allotment clearances, partnerships with companies across verticals and new digital-governance portals aimed at reducing investment friction.
For Madhya Pradesh, the latest investment wave represents more than capital infusion — it marks a deliberate attempt to reshape its economic profile through next-generation jobs and technology-driven growth.
