The only reason he stayed back was the proximity to his native place,” Shekhar wrote in the post.

Post-deadline, a follow-up meeting crushed hopes. Management flat-out said, “We won’t increase anything,” sticking him at ₹15 lakh despite the earlier ‘yes’.Shekhar’s X thread talked about the fallout, that once the new job was off the table, loyalty meant nothing. “
