‘Corporate Majdoor Pro Max’: Hospitalised Employee Works From Hospital Bed! Internet Is shocked

If the tagname ‘Corporate Majdoor’ were a video, this clip of a woman working from a hospital would have been it! Yes, believe it or not- but such a clip exists and something like that seemingly actually happened! The video was shared online, which showed a woman– with drips and bandages in hand- working from a hospital bed. The video immediately went viral and left many triggered. Most raised questions on India’s ‘normalised workplace toxicity’, while some started discussions on ‘work pressure’ turning into a threat for most working populations across the country. What was further alarming and rather ‘annoying’ to many was that the woman looked hardly bothered with working on her laptop– from the hospital! By the looks of it, the employee was possibly attending an online meeting.

A few netizens did resort to hilarious jokes; however, the majority questioned the woman’s lack of work life balance. This is not the first time that an employee was seen putting their work ahead of their health- social media is full of similar instances.

Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.

Check out the viral post:

“Corporate Employee ft,” the post read. “Tell me you are a corporate employee without telling me you are a corporate employee,” added a video.

The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Deepika Mantri’. The post was shared a day ago and pulled 82K views from people.

Internet’s reactions:

“It is okay that you are hospitalized, but you should have informed the manager 2 days ago,” a user joked. “How is your health now….. Ok. Start working on this.. we need to complete it before EOD,” wrote the next person.

“Actually the moment u start responding even when u r sick itself is a red flag. You are encouraging your leads to call you when sick and setting an expectation that you will respond when in sick. Should have stopped it,” added another.

“This is not at all funny. Stop showing up every single time, the office is just using you,” added another person. “Aap adjust kr skte ho, client ko thodi bol skte (You can adjust, as we can not say this to the clint),” added another.
