Omnicom Global Solutions (OGS) India, the global capability centre (GCC) of the Omnicom Group, plans to increase its headcount to 8,000 this year, even as the New York-based marketing and corporate communications conglomerate integrates operations with the Interpublic Group following their $13.5 billion merger.
The India GCC currently employs around 7,000 people across eight centres: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mohali. This could grow by 10-15% in 2026, OGS India CEO Vishal Srivastava told ET.
In India, the phase 1 of integrating the GCC businesses has been completed, running parallel to the integration of their media and creative operations in the country. The company is now aligning its operating models to create a unified, end-to-end marketing delivery engine, positioning India as a key global hub, Srivastava said. The next phases will focus on standardising processes and embedding best practices across teams and workflows.
