The software engineer is now employed as a lead software engineer and has accumulated several notable assets, including a five-bedroom home near Amsterdam, a one-bedroom apartment in Pune, and an Audi Q5. “He must be paying all his salary in home loan, car loan and taxes in Netherlands for the rest of his life. You don’t know that. Imagine what will happen if he loses his job?” said one user.
Responding to the criticism, Anurag clarified the situation, writing, “Only 20% of his salary goes into the home loan EMI. Home loan rates in the Netherlands are as low as 3-4%. He has already paid off all the loans on his car.”
