He began by dismissing the belief that most Gen Z employees often refuse to deal with ‘toxic bosses’, and called them ‘privileged’ instead. The Redditor further claimed that most of the Gen Z working population still relies on their parents’ income, due to which they hardly need money– Hence, Gen Z is accepting low-paying jobs and ruining ‘market rates’. The man also stated that younger employees who have a reputation of ‘calling out bosses’ are way too less- in comparison to the ‘privileged’ ones.
As soon as the post was shared online, it went viral and left netizens reacting. Most found the rant ‘nonsensical’ and ‘baseless’, while some shared their own views on Gen Z, which were supportive of the said gen.
