Jensen Huang, CEO, Nvidia, has urged employees to make artificial intelligence (AI) a core part of their daily work, marking a strong shift toward deeper integration of AI within the company. While many organisations remain cautious about automating everyday tasks, Huang encouraged his teams to embed AI into everything they do—from writing code to developing products. His message was simple: AI is not a threat, but a powerful tool that can elevate productivity and unlock new possibilities.
His remarks came during an internal all-hands meeting, a conversation that later became public through media reports.
Huang reportedly questioned why some managers were still asking teams to reduce AI usage, calling it counterintuitive at a time when AI is reshaping industries. His remarks come as major tech companies increasingly encourage staff to rely on AI tools.
Despite the rapid adoption of AI in workplaces, the trend has brought anxiety among employees worried about job losses. For instance, Amazon recently announced a significant restructuring involving around 14,000 corporate roles, with reports indicating that deeper cuts may follow as automation expands.
Huang, however, continues to argue that AI will reshape jobs rather than remove them. At a recent internal meeting, he reiterated that people familiar with AI tools will have the advantage, insisting that those who fail to adopt them risk falling behind. He pointed out that Nvidia has continued hiring aggressively, adding thousands of employees and expanding from 29,600 workers in fiscal 2024 to 36,000 in fiscal 2025. He said the company still needs nearly 10,000 more employees as it scales training and onboarding.
For Nvidia, AI remains the foundation of its rapid growth and leadership in the chip market. Huang’s message to the workforce was resolute: embracing AI is essential for staying competitive—both for the company and its employees.
