The report revealed that two technical staff members at Thinking Machines Lab earn $450,000 annually, while another receives $500,000. A fourth employee, identified as a “co-founder/machine learning specialist,” also earns $450,000 per year.
These salary figures became public through mandatory federal filings required when hiring non-US residents on H-1B visas. This indicates that these high-earning employees are working in the United States under such visas.
Interestingly, this data was gathered from the first quarter of this year before Mira Murati secured $2 billion in seed funding for her startup. This funding round valued the six-month-old company at an impressive $10 billion.
Meta’s Aggressive Recruitment Strategy
