A woman working at Amazon has gone viral after sharing how her mother casually “manifested” them working at the same company nearly a decade ago, long before either of them imagined it would actually happen.
The wholesome story was shared online by Harshini Dhanaseelan, who now works as an Operations Manager at Amazon India. Her mother, meanwhile, works at Amazon Web Services (AWS). But according to Harshini, their shared workplace journey began years earlier with a simple conversation that stayed in her mind.
She recalled being around 16 years old when her mother suddenly said, “Wouldn’t it be amazing if we worked in the same organisation one day?”
At the time, Harshini admitted the idea sounded far-fetched. Like many teenagers, she probably treated it as one of those hopeful “what if” conversations parents casually make. But years later, the prediction somehow became reality.
In her now-viral post, Harshini described her mother as someone who has always strongly believed in manifestation and positive thinking. Growing up around that mindset, she wrote, taught her that words and intentions often carry more power than people realise.
The internet especially connected with the emotional side of the story, not just because both mother and daughter now work under the Amazon umbrella, but because it reflected the quiet confidence many parents have in their children long before success actually arrives.
Harshini also described her mother as her “biggest role model,” saying she was someone who believed in possibilities even before there was visible proof that they could happen.
