The handwritten notes and illustrations that a woman leaves out for her spouse to spot upon returning home from work has warmed the hearts of viewers on Reddit.
The woman’s partner, who goes by u/dslryan on the platform, had shared several images of their wife’s touching artwork to significant viral attention. The post has been upvoted more than 208,000 times to date, drawing in more than 4,800 comments, many of which are from users gushing over the woman’s notes.
“My wife leaves drawings on our door for me upon my return from work,” the user wrote in the post.
Accompanying the text are several pictures of various notes the woman had left out for them over time. They include one colorful sketch of two waffles with faces embracing one another, as a text above the drawing read: “We’re waffle-ly cute together.”
Another picture showed a large strawberry, this time drawn on a pink Post-it note. The handwritten note for this sketch read: “You’re a berry special boy.”
The post quickly went viral on Reddit after being shared to the platform on May 22, with thousands of viewers sharing their praise for the woman’s sweet gestures and the couple’s marriage in the comments.

Although several Reddit users pointed out the woman’s sketching skill, the poster shared that she rarely draws because she does not believe she can, despite having a real “talent” for it.
