Revolut is set to significantly expand its presence in India, with plans to house nearly 40 per cent of its global workforce in the country by the end of 2026.
The fintech firm is expected to add around 1,600 roles across product, operations and financial services, taking its total India headcount to approximately 5,500.
India is rapidly emerging as a strategic hub for the company, with teams already handling critical global functions including payments, fraud monitoring and AI-led systems.
The move reflects a broader shift among global firms towards leveraging India as a core centre for innovation and large-scale operational delivery, beyond traditional cost efficiencies.
