Man Allegedly Uses Photoshop On Salary Slips, Gets ₹12 Lakh Job Offer — Internet Jokes That The Editor Deserves The Real Package

A viral video by comedian Anmol Garg on Instagram has grabbed attention after he shared the story of an employee who allegedly tricked companies into giving him a big salary hike. The person claimed that he went from earning ₹4 lakh per annum to ₹12 lakh per annum with just one job switch, and all of it was done using an edited salary slip.

The Story Behind the Viral DM

Anmol Garg said he received a direct message (DM) on Instagram from a person who explained his unusual journey of getting a higher salary. Instead of learning new skills or changing his work, the sender admitted to editing his payslip.

According to the DM, the man changed his actual ₹4 lakh per annum salary to show ₹7 lakh on the slip. He then applied for a new job and told the company he wanted a raise based on the fake figure. The company offered him ₹8.5 lakh per annum.

But he didn’t stop there. Using the ₹8.5 lakh offer letter, he went to another company, where he finally managed to land a job paying him ₹12 lakh per annum.

The “Corporate Cobra”

Reacting to the audacious stunt, Anmol Garg said he was shocked but also amused at the creativity. In his video, he jokingly referred to the employee as a “corporate cobra”, someone who slithered his way from a modest salary to a much higher one without gaining any new experience or skills.

“Brother, you’re not just a snake, you’re the corporate cobra. You jumped from 4 lakh to 12 lakh doing the same work without learning new skills. One day, you’ll become a manager for sure,” Anmol said in the video.

The Risks of Photoshop Hacks

Anmol, however, also pointed out the dangers of such a trick. He said that while most employees spend years working hard to earn salary hikes, this man used Photoshop to climb the ladder.

“People work hard for hikes, and here you are editing payslips. One day you’ll be caught, and when you’re fired, your certificate will call you a fraud. But you’ll probably edit that too,” he joked.

Anmol also humorously added that he wanted the number of the person who edited the payslip because the skill looked professional. He ended the video with a tongue-in-cheek warning: “Bhagwaan sab dekh raha hai (God is watching everything).”

The video quickly went viral on Instagram, with many viewers laughing at the “corporate cobra” tag, while others pointed out how risky and unethical the act was. Some praised Anmol Garg’s comic timing, while others debated how fake documents could cause serious trouble for employees in the long run.
