The Government of Odisha has approved fresh investment proposals worth around rs 3,800 crore, expected to generate more than 7,000 jobs across the state, signalling continued momentum in industrial expansion

The proposals were cleared at a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority, which evaluates and fast-tracks industrial investments. The approved projects span multiple sectors, including manufacturing, logistics and emerging industries, and are set to be implemented across several districts to ensure balanced regional development.
Officials indicated that the investments are aligned with the state’s broader push to strengthen its industrial ecosystem while improving employment opportunities. The projects are expected to contribute to both direct and indirect job creation, supporting local economies and supply chains.
The approvals come amid Odisha’s sustained efforts to position itself as a preferred investment destination, backed by policy support, infrastructure development and streamlined clearances. The state has been actively pursuing a strategy of diversifying industrial activity beyond traditional sectors while attracting new-age investments.
