A lawsuit against a senior JPMorgan executive has triggered widespread outrage, with a junior employee accusing her of prolonged sexual abuse, coercion, and racially charged harassment. The case has quickly captured public attention due to the disturbing nature of the allegations.
According to reports, the complainant, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has accused the 37-year-old executive, identified as Lorna Hajdini, of exploiting her position of power to intimidate and sexually harass him.
The lawsuit alleges that the executive not only made repeated unwanted advances but also threatened his career progression when he refused to comply.
The complaint further claims that the accused administered a date rape drug, commonly referred to as “roofies,” and carried out non-consensual sexual acts despite the victim’s clear objections. The alleged incidents reportedly began in 2024, initially involving inappropriate remarks that quickly escalated into explicit propositions and threats.
In one instance cited in the lawsuit, the executive allegedly made a sexually suggestive comment after physical contact, which marked the beginning of a pattern of behaviour.
When the junior employee declined her advances, she was accused of responding with threats, including statements like, “If you don’t f**k me soon, I’m going to ruin you… never forget, I f**king own you.”
The lawsuit also details several instances of alleged racial abuse. The complainant claims he was subjected to derogatory and offensive remarks, including statements such as, “Birthday BJ for the brown boy? My little brown boy,” and “You’re gonna need to earn it, my little Arab boy toy.”
On another occasion, the executive allegedly showed up at his residence uninvited and pressured him into sexual activity, linking compliance to his professional future. The complainant states he repeatedly resisted, at one point pleading, “Don’t make me do this,” while also alleging that his distress was ignored.
He further claims that during another encounter, he said, “I’m very uncomfortable, please, Lorna, please, I’m begging you,” but was met with ridicule. Additional threats cited in the lawsuit include warnings that his career would be sabotaged if he did not comply with her demands.
The case has been filed in New York County Supreme Court under the pseudonym “John Doe,” with the plaintiff stating that anonymity is necessary due to fears for his safety and that of his family.
JPMorgan Chase has reportedly denied the allegations. A company spokesperson stated, “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims.”
The case has sparked intense debate online, and users expressed strong reactions, highlighting the seriousness of the allegations.
“”That made him cry” is a very light way of describing sexual abuse and rape,” said one user.
“The people celebrating this, saying he’s a lucky guy make me sick. People like you are the reason male SA victims rarely come forward. This man was RAPED, repeatedly over a long time. If the genders were reversed all most of you would be calling for his head. I promise, if you were in his position you wouldn’t think it was so great. Have some empathy,” said another.
“This is so disgusting, all of the comments she made. It was a hard read,” a third user said.
